OUTRAGED BY ATTACK, INDIA WEIGHS MILITARY ACTION.(MAIN)

NEW DELHI, India -- A senior official said on Saturday that India was seriously considering military action if diplomatic pressure fails to convince Pakistan to crack down on Pakistan-based groups India has accused of attacking Parliament on Dec. 13.

On Friday, India recalled its envoy to Pakistan for the first time in 30 years and ended bus and train service between the two nuclear-armed nations as the initial step in a strategy to ratchet up pressure on Pakistan gradually to act against the Islamic groups that India blames for the attack.
